Roo who?
Where did the name “Roo Accounting Inc.” come from?
Roo Accounting gets its name from Roo, a recently adopted rescue from the Humane Society.
Roo is fearlessly loyal and yearns to work and succeed. Roo also has a spirit of deep collaboration. These qualities inspire Roo Accounting to always put our clients first and ensure we can be counted on.

BIO
Meet Simon Chung
Simon Chung is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA – California) and holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential. Simon is an advocate for achieving growth and excellence in people, processes, and technology through business process improvement. Simon believes in working smarter, not harder, and leveraging his problem-solving skills to tailor financials and insights that are most applicable to business owners.
Simon received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting, from the California State University.
Simon Chung takes a comprehensive and hands-on approach with his clients to understand their life goals as well as their financial and business goals. Through this process, Simon identifies planning opportunities and works with clients to understand their unique situation (business model, structure, and goals). Obtaining a complete understanding of a client’s situation is fundamental to developing and executing creative custom-tailored solutions that directly impact clients’ success.
